Shoulder & Elbow Reconstruction
Richard Rozencwaig, M.D., F.A.C.S., specializes in shoulder and elbow reconstruction, sports medicine, arthroscopy and trauma. He is Board- Certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He was recently appointed Chief of Orthopaedics at Aventura Hospital. Dr. Rozencwaig completed a Shoulder and Elbow reconstruction fellowship in July 1998 at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. He completed an Orthopaedic Surgery internship and residency at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans, LA; he also served as Chief Resident. In July of 1988, he received his Biomedical Engineering Degree at the University ofMiami. Dr. Rozencwaig has published 13 journal articles, 3 abstracts and 7 textbook chapters. Other articles await publication. He has lectured throughout North and South America on a variety oforthopedic subjects. Through his interest in research and teaching, Dr. Rozencwaig was appointed Clinical Assistant Professorfor the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery at Nova Southeastern University. He was also appointed to the Board of Athletic Training by the Governor ofthe State ofFlorida. In addition to serving as afellow ofthe American Academy ofOrthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Rozencwaig is also a member ofthe Arthroscopy Association ofNorth America (AANA), and the International Society ofArthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS).
